Do you consider yourself to be alternative?
I make what one would call alternative music but I’m just Demi Yo’ko.
How do you navigate life as an alternative person of color?
I am constantly only trying to prove something to none other than myself. I constantly remind myself that I need to be the version of myself my younger self needed. WIth that I’m able to express myself freely because I’m not doing it for any sort of external validation.
What do you create/ how do you express yourself/ what do you contribute to the alt POC community?
I create captivating stories and worlds using my unique perspective. My main medium to do so is music.
